ACTIVITIES DETAILS
Group Lessons: These will be conducted as three different workstations that rotate. Each group lesson will be lead by two instructors and have a max of six students per group. Breakdown of what the instructors are teaching are:
Field Exercises: Students will break up into groups of three, and will be lead by one instructor. Each group will choose which location they want to shoot at in the area: Rialto Beach or Second Beach. Signups for these field exercise groups will take place at the workshop.
Fireside Chats: These chats will be conducted in a panel / open forum discussion format. Each fireside chat will feature three of the instructors and be lead by a moderator. Questions from the students are encouraged.
Instructor Case Studies: The old adage is a picture is worth a thousand words, and with this session you'll hear the backstory you've never heard before. The instructors will select specific photos from their portfolios, and review the intricate stories behind them. From what inspired it, to weathering the elements to get the shot, to what they did to edit it, and even the aftermath of sharing the image publicly.
